 Domestic Arts Rules

Entry Fee: Season or Membership Ticket.

  1. Entries must be made on August 5 & August 6, from 8am to 4pm at the Secretary’s Office.
  2. Entries cannot be altered unless the fault of the Secretary.
  3. No more than one (1) entry in the same class by same person.
  4. All work must be by the exhibitor.
  5. An article entered in the wrong class will not be judged.
  6. New work and new ideas will be given preference. Cleanliness will be considered in awarding premiums.
  7. Anything removed before Sunday, August 21 will forfeit premium.
  8. Articles must be brought to the domestic arts display in the Rutland Bottle Gas between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturday, August 13
  9. See General Rules for further instruction.
  10. Meigs County Agricultural Society is not responsible for damage or loses.
  11. No Best of Show Awarded to professionals or groups

Workmanship – 50 percent Materials – 30 percent
