Admission

Admission will be charged at the gates starting at 7:00 a.m. each day of the fair.  General admission is $7.00 Monday - Thursday, $8.00 Friday and Saturday.  Admission price includes all entertainment, stage shows and carnival rides.  Children two and under admitted FREE at gates. 

Parking is free. Reserve parking in specified areas $25.00/week. 

Camping is available for $125.00 for the week including water and electric, does not include admission to the grounds.

Season passes can be purchased at the business establishments listed below. These tickets entitle you to gate admission and free parking for your car during the entire fair. Membership tickets entitle you to vote or file for the Board of Directors of the Society. Season tickets, purchased at the secretary's office, are for commercial exhibitors or non-residents of Meigs County. Tickets can also be purchased at the Secretary's Office on grounds after paying admission at gate.

Membership tickets for admission & voting privilege $16.00. Membership tickets may be purchased at the Meigs County Extension Office, 117 E. Memorial Drive, Pomeroy, or from any fair board member.  MEMBERSHIP TICKETS SOLD ONLY TO INDIVIDUALS - NOT TO A COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION.

Electronics Give Away

Electronic items will be given away on Tuesday and Saturday at noon (shortly thereafter) at the "DEW ZONE (hill stage).  Each child 12 and under will receive a ticket for the drawing upon entering the gates until noon. Children MUST be present to win.  Electronic items are donated by area businesses.

Rules & Regulations

All entries must be residents of Meigs County, Ohio

1. Any child that is 4 years of age on August 11 will be in Little Miss/Mister Contest.
2. Twins will be judged as individuals.
3. Out of County Judges will be used and the decisions of the judges will be final.
4. All ages are to be dressed in casual clothing NO hat/bows etc. NOTHING fancy.
5. One girl and one boy will be selected as first place winner in each group.
6. Each child will receive a ribbon for entering the contest.
7. ALL BABIES MUST BE REGISTERED ON AUGUST 1 OR 2 ONLY AT THE SECRETARY’S OFFICE ON THE FAIRGROUNDS.
8. An entry fee of $5.00 will be charged.
9. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008.  NO ENTRIES WILL BE  ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME. 

Winner in each category (girl & Boy) will receive a $50 Savings Bond from Home National Bank.  Must bring letter to bank to get savings bond. Social security number of child is required (this is needed for savings bond information).

LITTLE MISS AND MISTER MEIGS COUNTY CONTEST

1. Entries must be a boy or girl, four through seven years of age.
2. Child must be 4 years of age by August 11, 2008 but not more than 8 years of age by August 11, 2008.
3. Twins will be judged as individuals.
4. One boy and one girl will be selected as Little Miss Meigs County and Little Mister Meigs County.
5. Out of county judges will be used to judge the contest
6. An entry fee of $5.00 will be charged.
7. REGISTRATION WILL BE ONLY AUGUST 1 AND 2, 2008 AT THE SECRETARY’S OFFICE ON THE FAIRGROUNDS.

NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED AFTER THIS TIME. NO EXCEPTIONS
